Three Erasmus researchers from the University of L'Aquila, Italy spent three months over the summer at the School of Engineering as members of Dr Lev Sarkisov's research group looking at molecular simulation. Ms Angela Barone carried out research into "Carbon dioxide adsorption in MOF-ionic liquid composite systems"; Ms Alessia Centi on "Adsorption of water in MOFs"; and Ms Luigia Zazzara on "The application of MOFs to flue and fuel gas separations".
